Stranger than Fiction
I watched ‘Stranger than Fiction’ tonight — I was expecting better, but it certainly wasn’t a bad movie. Will had a quality performance, but I still wanted him to bust out in Anchorman style — something I suppose he wants to get somewhat away from and be able to show his versatile acting skills; quite like Jim Carrey these days.
The underlining story was good; again, nothing great. It’s a feel good story telling you not to fall too into routines. Appreciate your surroundings, who you’re with, and what you can give to the world. Appreciate the fact that nothing is set in stone, and that anything could change at any moment — even if you think you’re going down a destructive path.
I’m surely glad I watched it. It’s easy to fall into routines and take things for granted. I suppose movies and themes like ‘Stranger than Fiction’ are made for you to appreciate everything around you.
