Must Own HD Movies

I’m anticipating that Santa is bringing me the HD-DVD player add-on for my 360. While I could be completely wrong that I’ll be receiving such a gift, I’m going to assume that it is, in fact, coming down my chimney in a few short days. And as such, I would like to compile a list of must have movies in high definition format.

Now, I own roughly 400 standard dvd movies, so I’d like to not replace them — unless a movie truly deserves to be watched in high definition format. So, this list will surely be hard for me to generate. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment. I’ll add them to my list as they come in.

My list below is in no particular order — just listed as movies which I believe are a must own in a high definition format. I’m aware that some movies below are not available in the HD format just yet, so no need to point that out in the comments.
