The Kingdom, starring Jamie Foxx, turned out to be very disappointing. The first half hour or so sets up a plot based on political situations among muslim radicals, Saudi Arabia, and the United States — it gives you plenty of back story and then introduces you to the main characters. From there, the movie begins to drag it’s feet. And by the time the movie has about fourty-five minutes remaining, it’s an all out far-too-common action movie that just happens to be based in Saudi Arabia. After you finish watching it, you’ll ask for your two hours back.
