Across the Universe failed to do anything for me. For the first thirty minutes or so, I had no idea who each character was, or whom he or she was with. And by the end of the film, all the songs were very very predictable. Sure, it was great hearing Beatles tunes, but I could have accomplished that feeling by putting my collection on random. I was expecting a Rent-like musical, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt was a poor attempt at a musical featuring the best of The Beatles. Next.
