Giants 17, Patriots 14

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Eli did it — after everyone saying he would never win in New York.  Coughlin did it — after everyone demanding that the owners fire him.  Plaxico called it, and he was right — a low scoring Giants win over the Patriots.

Incredible.

While the victory was great, seeing Belichick run off the field and not even acknowledging the Giants players, or Coughlin, was ever better.  Plus, while being interviewed, Belichick just kept saying how disappointed he was.  Right, your undefeated season just went to shit; we’d expect you to be disappointed.  But to not congratulate the Giants on their victory?  Talk about an asshole.  But hopefully it was just un-aired, and I missed it.

All in all, what a great game; very entertaining.  David Tyree had some amazing grabs, and the NYG defense pounded on Brady all night.  Incredible.
