Dear New York City,

Thank you for not fucking up my car today.  While it was almost a nightmare driving around Radio City, it was a great learning experience.  Perhaps one day, I shall return via my automobile.  But until then, I’ll be taking the train in.

Am I the only one who feels like Cloverfield will be a huge disappointment?  The initial trailers, the ones where they didn’t mention a movie title, were amazing.  They built hype, they created discussion.

Now it appears to be yet another monster-ish movie where New York City is under attack by someone or something.

I’m a huge J.J. Abrams fan for what he has created with Lost.  I only hope Cloverfield is a success, and proves me wrong.
